Rock Ur Heart Out is pleased to annouce that we have officially raised over $5,000 for Jayden Zapata and his Family.

Our Back to Back Fundraising Events at McGarry's Pub and Calico Jacks Cantina in October 2009 kickstarted our fundraising goal of $15,000 for Jayden. We want to thank everyone who helped make these events a success - from our sponsors to our local emerging artists to our hosting venue and especially Jayden's loving and supportive extended family. All of you who helped out behind the scenes to pull it off. The night was full of music, singing, dancing, giveaways and very generous people. New friendships, partnerships and long term relationships were created and a real Community developed around this miraculous boy.

Hi, My Name is Jayden Zapata. I am 5 Years old. I was born In Mount Sinai Hospital on Jan 15, 2004, three months premature. I had blood in my brain which caused complications. At one and half years old I was diagnosed with Spastic Cerebral Palsy & Developmental Delay.

What's next for Rock 2 Walk? Windows of Opportunity is working with his local youth leaders who will be continuing the fundraising.
